Our data center has a total power capacity of 3.7 MW, consisting of 2.1 MW usable and 1.6 MW redundant power. Behind a 1:1 redundant transformer system with automatic transfer, there are 3 units of 1,100 kVA Caterpillar (CAT) diesel generators standing by in automatic mode to provide power the moment the grid fails.
Power is supplied to the server cabinets via a redundant "busbar" line.
- Uninterrupted Power Source: High-capacity UPS systems, which eliminate transition time between the grid and generators, provide full protection against energy fluctuations.
- N+1 Redundant Generator: Three Caterpillar generators are configured to back each other up in case of potential failures, ensuring energy continuity.
- Redundant Busbar System: Energy paths to each cabinet are fed through physically separated dual-arm Busbar lines, eliminating the risk of a single point of failure.
